Vallie Etienne

My name is Vallie Etienne, your TMS technician and a treater! I am 29 years old, an animal enthusiast, a visual artist and I have a B.A. in Sociology, and two film degrees. Human psychology and the impact of society on health have always been key interests in my career path, and healthcare is no different. We, as humans, have many different priorities and it is easy to lose sight of the self.
This is why mental health is so important to me.
At York TMS, we strive to create an intimate dynamics with our patients. I personally believe that mental health care is unachievable without a one– on- one, caring dynamics; and that’s where I come in! My job is to maintain client care, office hygiene standards, handle phone and reception, and any client concerns.
Having been exposed to several different career paths, I’ve noticed one common denominator between all people- we all want to be happy. Watching so many of my peers and respected mentors struggle with the balance between mental and emotional health only amplified my passion for helping people.
